Short-Term: Many people think caregiving must take place over a long period of time, but in reality we offer assistance for short periods of a few hours to a few months. You may simply need transportation to and from a medical procedure, care during a period of illness, or an extra hand while recovering from surgery. We’ll make sure you’re taken care of.
Seniors: Our senior clients love their homes and being near their family members, and in-home care makes it possible for them to stay where they are rather than moving to an assisted living home. We provide everything from companionship to assistance with medication reminders to light housekeeping, all while keeping our seniors happy and engaged.
Disabled: When working with our disabled clients, our goal is always to help these clients maintain as much independence and dignity as possible. We provide the assistance they need while allowing the clients to do for themselves whatever is possible. Our services often allow disabled clients to live independently or semi-independently.
Alzheimer’s Disease: Alzheimer’s patients need routine and a calm environment to feel secure in their day to day activities. We help families to establish these elements in the lives of loved ones living with Alzheimer’s disease.
Recovery: Whether you’re recovering from a bad case of the flu, a medical procedure, or surgery, Honolulu Caregivers is there to make sure you’re getting the rest you need. We can help get you to and from the doctor’s office or hospital, make sure you’re comfortable at home, and assist with medication reminders, your to-do list, and personal care throughout your recovery period.
New Parents: With a new baby in the picture, your life is suddenly filled with lots of joy – and lots of sleepless nights. We can help you to get some rest by taking care of those things you don’t have the energy for: cooking, light housekeeping, errands, and more. We also provide pre-natal care for mothers in their final months and weeks of pregnancy.
Respite: Family caregivers need to take time to themselves to recharge every once in awhile. Our caregivers can take over while family caregivers are away, whether it’s for a few hours or a few days.
Hospice: Honolulu Caregivers provides reliable end-of-life care for those who wish to spend their last days at home. We can work with family members to ensure that the client is comfortable and well taken care of.
